Take What You Brought In Policy

The Crafter’s Market Network

Operated by Hearthstone Enterprises, LLC

Purpose

The Crafter’s Market Network, operated by Hearthstone Enterprises, LLC (“the Network”), is committed to maintaining clean, professional, and welcoming venues for our vendors, shoppers, venue partners, and local communities.

Every vendor plays an important role in helping us leave each venue in excellent condition. This policy establishes each vendor’s responsibility for cleaning their booth space and removing all property at the conclusion of an event.

This policy supplements the Vendor Agreement and other published Network policies.

Vendor Responsibility

Each vendor is responsible for removing everything they bring into the event before leaving the venue.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Merchandise and inventory
  • Tables, chairs, tents, canopies, and display equipment
  • Boxes, packing materials, and storage containers
  • Trash, food containers, drink cups, and personal belongings
  • Signs, banners, decorations, tape, zip ties, and other booth materials
  • Damaged or broken equipment
  • Unsold merchandise
  • Any other personal or business property

Each booth space should be left clean, orderly, and free of debris before departure.

Trash Disposal

Trash receptacles provided by the venue are intended only for normal day-of-event waste generated during participation.

They are not intended for disposal of:

  • Large cardboard boxes
  • Excessive packing materials
  • Display fixtures
  • Shelving
  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Tents or tent weights
  • Unsold merchandise
  • Broken equipment
  • Large or bulky items

Please plan accordingly and take these items with you when leaving the event.

Respect Our Venues

Our ability to host future events depends upon maintaining positive relationships with our venue partners.

Leaving a clean booth space demonstrates professionalism, respect, and appreciation for the facilities that make our events possible.

We ask every vendor to leave their assigned space in the same condition—or better—than it was found.

Inspection of Booth Space

Event organizers may inspect booth spaces during breakdown or after vendors have departed.

If excessive trash, abandoned property, damage, or cleanup issues are discovered, the Network may document the condition for its records and take appropriate action under this policy and the Vendor Agreement.

Failure to Comply

Vendors who fail to comply with this policy, including leaving behind excessive trash, abandoned property, or damage to the venue, may be subject to one or more of the following:

  • A request to return and remove abandoned property, when practical.
  • Responsibility for any cleanup or disposal fees assessed by the venue.
  • Loss of future vendor privileges.
  • Denial of future applications.
  • Removal or restriction from future events operated by the Network.

The Network reserves the right to determine the appropriate response based on the nature and severity of the violation.

Our Commitment

Maintaining clean venues benefits everyone.

By working together, we demonstrate respect for our venue partners, protect the reputation of The Crafter’s Market Network, and help ensure that we can continue hosting outstanding community marketplaces for years to come.

Thank you for helping us leave every venue cleaner, safer, and ready to welcome us back.
